Love the tofu triangles! Reasonable prices- green veggie curry is flavorful and you can add your own spices, which is a real plus!
Amazing food, great service, and great people! This is our go to spot for Thai food! It has always been the best for chicken pad Thai, and their spring rolls are amazing!
Thai ice tea differs from many other places; it's super good and hits the spot for sweet-toothed. This place broke the scale on food. It's not a mid-restaurant; trust the food, you'll be coming back, I'm warning you. Food may take a while to cook, but it's worth the food; the longer it takes, the better it tastes. Be patient! I tried some of the food and could tell each individual's recipe had its flavor. Waste no time and try this Thai food; you'll get tasty fresh food and excellent service without hesitations, and they have a water fountain (: Their lunch menu comes with rice, while the rice is sold separately on their dinner menu. Rice on the dinner menu is $3.50, depending on how many will multiply. Spicy food Recommended: -Basil Fried rice with beef -Fried fish chili sauce, add jalapeños (YUM) -Panang curry, add veggies (Tasty) extra $1.50 Mild food Recommendations: -Beef Satay -Mango Salad!! -Pad Thai or PadseEw with Beef -Mix veggies and add eggplant (super good)extra $1.50 -Coconut soup(Tom kha) It has a red flake or color, but trust it's not chili spice; I can confirm.
We finally found our thai/lao spot. This is an authentic place. We've tried pad thai, pad sew, their soups. Everything is just right, and perfect! Will definitely come back soon....
We ordered several items, pad Thai, pad see eew and papaya salad. All the items were delicious. The papaya salad was authentic as they come. This establishment has been around for decades and for good reasons. The service is super friendly. This is definitely a place for friends and families. It is also clean and spacious. There are street parking and also a parking lot in the back. In addition to the food, we also ordered the Thai ice tea and the ice coffee. They were also very delicious. Overall, we highly recommend giving this restaurant a try!
Sayesetha is one of my favorite no frills Thai spots in Oakland. I love grabbing takeout from here, but also appreciate getting a table with friends every now and then. The service is excellent and the owner is super friendly. I went recently and ended up getting some pad See Ew and beef curry. Both dishes were super tasty. The curry had a rich flavor and was very filling. The owner even brought out some soup for us on the house! I'd recommend checking this spot out if you're looking for some affordable Thai takeout or a super casual dinner with a group of friends.
Consistently a great spot! I've now tried many noodles, rices, and curries, and they're really good. My favorites are pad see ew and pumpkin curry. There's an older gentleman I normally see (maybe he's the owner?) and he is so friendly. Their takeout is also very fast, usually ready in 10-15 min. Highly recommend!
I'm moving out of Oakland soon, and this was a place that made me sad to have only recently discovered it. Super flavorful pad see ew, and the tom kha was great as well. Bummed to have missed this place in the past few years, definitely try it out!
